Gayndah Agricultural Show.

Tony & I decided to have a day off go to the local show at Gayndah which is about 40km from Mundubbera. I had Thursday off but Tone has been working everyday. Ouch, not used to starting work at 7am.

As the area is a big citrus grower the largest trophy was saved for the " mandos" . It was good to see the locals supporting their show even though many properties were flooded only 8 weeks ago with the biggest flood since '42.

Kids display of veggie people
Yummy jams, preserves & country cooking. Alexis, our farm girl won 2nd prize for her savoury muffins
